We’re kicking off March with our first Total Warrior Training session. For the last two years we have entered a team into the Lakes 10k race. We did exceptionally well last year with our team finishing in 3rd place overall. This year we’re looking to do even better and have even more of our members join the team. As most of you are aware the price of the race goes up the closer we get to it, so make sure you book on asap.

We have been asked to become Total Warrior fitness ambassadors which means we will be carrying out 6 specific training sessions to get people ready for race day. 3 of the sessions will be gym based with the other 3 being done outdoors in the elements. The three locations have been chosen and details will be released closer to the time. We will welcome anyone on the training sessions regardless if they’re in our team or not so if you have entered with another team, please get yourselves involved with us.

The gym-based sessions will be roughly 90mins long and will be included in memberships and £7 for non-members. The offsite sessions will be free for all.

Sessions will involve specific warm ups and mobility routines to get you prepared for the rugged terrain that lies ahead. Strength training and conditioning work to prepare you for all 30 obstacles you will face together. And lastly, with a little help from Mother Nature, some mud!!

August 4th will be here before we know it and I’m hoping to get as many as you involved as possible. It’s a brilliant day out and you will have a sense of achievement and some great laughs to go with it once the day is over.
